Self-defense and fitness as a whole is a very important part of youth development. As a part of the Wynn Fitness Krav Maga Studio, I am a student learning how to practice self-defense and better equip myself for dangerous situations.
MODEL UNITED NATIONS
Passionate about politics and the way we act as a society I was told to join the CHAMUN team in grade nine where I worked hard to become the secretary-general in charge of directing the actions of my fellow members.
GAY STRAIGHT ALLIANCE
To best promote a change at Chaminade College I found myself drawn to the school's GSA. I started off as a member but through hard work, I became the leader and can direct my group on the best ways to create change and cope with hate.
STOP THE STIGMA
Stereotypes and generalizations are a big problem in any community. They are often reinforced to prove a point and often times hold little factuality. The stop the stigma committee at Chaminade chooses a stereotype and breaks it down.
LEADERSHIP
Leadership at Chaminade is very important, as part of this program was able to plan events, learn how to communicate better but most importantly I got to connect with other Chaminade students who I may have never seen before.
STEM
A program granted to only the top 60 students in your grade. The STEM program works in a similar manner to MST or AP classes but for grades 9 - 11. The STEM program is excellent for putting like-minded students together so we can be our best selves.

ALGONQUIN LEADER
As part of the STEM experience, we get to lead the younger STEM classes on their trip to Algonquin Park. The trip is three days and three nights of hard work and experimentation on the soil, flora and some insects at the national park.

DIALYSIS VOLUNTEER
Mentioned on my "experiences" page. I help out every Sunday evening at the Humber River Hospital. I am responsible with comforting patients and helping them get to their chairs safely and in the correct order.

PASSION PLAY
To showcase the community and love shared between the St, Phillip Nerry churchgoers, we put on a wonderful passion play every year. I get to help with setup and play as a disciple in the reenactment of the life of Jesus.

PEER DRIVEN TUTORING
As part of the leadership program at Chaminade, I was given the responsibility to tutor a couple of students in the younger grades with their math and science courses. I am happy to say that programs like this build a strong sense of brotherhood between the students at Chaminade College.

JAKES HOUSE CHRISTMAS PARTY
Jakes House Christmas Party is an amazing charity event that is hosted to over a thousand parents and their children who exist on the autism spectrum. At the event food, entertainment and presents are given to the children and James Bodanis - charity founder gives a wonderful speech to everyone present.

BIKE RODEO SAFETY PRESENTATION
Hosted by our leadership program, we get to travel to local schools and teach the students about proper bike safety and what to do when encountering different obstacles. This was also a great experience to talk with younger students about what life in high school is like.
